Nationwide House Prices (Oct.)

House prices rose at their fastest rate in five years during October. But the housing market is mainly being driven by temporary factors such as pent-up demand and the stamp duty cut. Looking ahead, we think this mini-boom will soon end and house price growth will stall by the end of 2021.
