Alarming UN report could spark more green spending

The UN’s latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report warned that ever-increasing greenhouse gas emissions are a ‘code red for humanity’, which could give further momentum to the green energy transition. This transition primarily involves a shift towards electric vehicles and renewable technologies at the expense of the highly-polluting internal combustion engine car and fossil fuels, respectively.
