Caroline Bain is the Chief Commodities Economist at Capital Economics, with overall responsibility for the Commodities Overview, Energy and Metals services. Caroline joined us from the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), where she was a member of the global forecasting team with particular responsibility for commodities. She is also the author of “The Economist Guide to Commodities”, with a second edition published in 2021.
She has degrees in economics from Trinity College Dublin and the University of London.
