GDP (Q2 1st Estimate)

The 2.6% annualised gain in real GDP in the second quarter was driven by a rebound in real consumption growth, and suggests that the economy is still on track to grow by around 2.2% in 2017 as a whole. This should convince the Fed that, despite the recent weakness of core inflation, the real economy remains in good shape.
