Have AI effects shifted to boosting US employment?

It is hard to accurately gauge the extent to which the adoption of AI is affecting payrolls, but the recent improvement in jobs growth in those industries most exposed to AI suggests any negative effects have eased. On the flip side, we are now beginning to see clearer positive effects of the data centre buildout on manufacturing and non-residential construction payrolls. The upshot is that the net impact of AI on employment may have shifted from a modest negative to a modest positive.
