UK Labour Market (Nov./Dec. 2023)

Another big drop in wage growth in November supports our view that domestic inflationary pressures are fading fairly fast. But the ongoing tightness of the labour market will probably mean that the Bank of England is unlikely to water-down its hawkish tone at its policy meeting in February.
