Stamp duty hike likely to call time on Dublin property

With investors now forced to fund an additional 4% in transaction costs, Ireland’s decision to increase stamp duty on commercial property will add to the slowdown in the market. Furthermore, with buyers now likely to discount capital values, prime yields could start to move higher sooner than we anticipate.
