Infrastructure supporting services-led recovery

The shape of China’s post-zero-COVID rebound has become clearer over the past week: primarily services-driven, as expected, but with stronger construction activity too, which appears to be mostly about infrastructure rather than property. Next week's data will underline that China’s recovery is unspooling quite unlike earlier re-openings elsewhere: headline inflation may have dropped below 1% last month.
