GDP (June & Q2 2019)

Temporary factors helped to support the better-than-expected 3.7% annualised gain in GDP in the second quarter and we expect growth to slow to just 1.5% in the third quarter. Given the downside risks to the outlook, we continue to think that the Bank will cut interest rates in October.
