Could Portugal yet escape a bail-out?

Despite the surge in Portuguese government bond yields, politicians continue to insist that they will not require a bail-out. But these words can quickly be taken over by events. A quick look at Portugal’s cash balance and coming borrowing needs suggests that a bail-out in June, if not before, is very likely.
