Industrial metals continue to struggle

The escalating crisis surrounding Greece’s negotiations with its creditors and its potentially negative implications for the euro-zone economy weighed on investor sentiment this week. Industrial metals prices were particularly hard hit as Chinese economic data remained soft. Meanwhile, the dovish tone of Fed comments on Wednesday offered some support to commodities prices, notably gold.
