Egypt Interest Rate Announcement (Feb. ’25)

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) left its overnight deposit rate unchanged at 27.25% today but, with inflation set to slow sharply over the next couple of months, we think policymakers will start the monetary loosening cycle at the next meeting in April.
