The fall in the German Ifo in November chimes with the drop in the Composite PMI and suggests that the German economy remains weak, with the fiscal stimulus is not yet having a meaningful impact. We still expect growth to pick up from only around 0.3% this year, but our forecast for GDP to expand by 0.8% in 2026 is below the consensus.
