Frankfurt rent surge will not stop a wider slowdown

German office rents made stronger than expected gains in 2025 Q1. But not all markets were moving in line, with Frankfurt’s buoyancy a stark contrast to other cities. While that suggests risks remain on the upside in the near term, we still expect overall prime rental growth will weaken by end-2025.
