Aviation will account for the bulk of oil demand growth

Despite jet fuel being a fairly small share of total oil consumption, we suspect it will drive a large chunk of the 1.4m bpd growth in crude oil demand we anticipate this year. We think jet fuel demand could increase by 0.9m bpd as international flight activity continues to grow in China and the rest of the world.
