The latest industrial production and retail sales data for Russia for December were relatively weak, but Q4 was a bit stronger than we had expected and the economy is likely to have expanded slightly in the final quarter. Over 2022 as a whole, we think Russia’s economy probably contracted by 2.0-2.5%.
