US and UK equities are more alike than it seems

US large cap equities have vastly outperformed UK ones over the past year or so, but that is skewed by the performance of the biggest names on both sides of the Atlantic. Indeed, there is little difference between the two markets on an equal-weighted basis over that period. We think that UK equities will largely keep pace with their US counterparts over 2024-2025 as both markets rise significantly.
