US-Europe tensions over Greenland, and renewed US policy uncertainty more broadly, has led to speculation of a return of the “sell America” narrative that dominated financial markets in the first half of 2025. While the Trump administration’s unpredictable approach to policy makes it hard to rule out such an outcome, we continue to think that the likelihood is quite small.
