BoE Watch: BoE may not follow the central bank crowd in raising rates
A hold on Thursday 18th June looks nailed on and we expect interest rates to stay at 3.75% for the rest of the year. But rate hikes in July and/or September can’t be ruled out. Either way, the weakness in activity and in the labour market will probably mean interest rates end 2027 below the 4.25-4.50% investors expect.
