Asia slows as Emerging Europe recovers

EM GDP growth has remained stable at around 4.5% y/y in recent months, but this has masked a shift in the fortunes for individual regions. Emerging Europe appears to be experiencing a relatively strong recovery. In contrast, while Asia remains the fastest growing EM region, the pace of expansion has slipped over the past month or so.
