S&P Global/CIPS Flash PMIs (Feb.)

The sharp rebound in the flash UK composite PMI in February suggests that the economy remained resilient to the dual drags from high inflation and high interest rates at the start of this year. But we doubt this will last as the drag from higher interest rates intensifies and triggers a recession in 2023.
