The government announced this week that it will once again be providing travel subsidies, this time under the National Travel Discount (NTD) program, from 11th October through December. Prefectural governments get to decide the start date and duration of their participation in the NTD, if at all. But with the record seventh virus wave in full retreat, we’re confident that virtually all prefectures will take full advantage of the NTD.
