Economy performing exceptionally well

India’s economy recorded solid growth in the first half of this year and continues to do so in the second half. While economic activity is likely to slow a touch over the coming quarters, we think GDP growth will still be around 6% in 2024. That would mean that India will maintain its standing as one of the fastest-growing major EM economies.
