What to make of the recovery so far

Mixed recent data have fuelled an inconclusive debate about the strength of China’s economic rebound and how much need there is for additional policy support. In our view, most evidence suggests that the recovery has been robust and we expect that to be the message from the March and Q1 data scheduled for release next week.
