How Treasury supply (and demand) might affect yields

The US Treasury’s latest borrowing estimates pushed long-dated yields down, and the Quarterly Refunding Announcement (QRA) on Wednesday may add to positive sentiment. But we think that a poor fiscal outlook in the US and more price-sensitive buyers will keep a floor under term premia, and in turn under Treasury yields.
