Droughts could slow fall in inflation

Droughts across the UK and some of Western Europe are threatening to push up food prices. Along with the recent rise in energy prices, this might prevent CPI inflation from falling as sharply as hoped this year. But as things stand, it should not stop inflation falling below the 2% target later this year.
