Australia ABS House Prices (Q4)

The 1.0% q/q rise in ABS house prices in the fourth quarter overstates the health of the market at the end of last year and the more up-to-date CoreLogic data show that prices stagnated in the first two months of this year. As such, the housing market will be a drag on the economy this year.
