Fed to keep hiking until inflation subsides

We still think it’s only a matter of time before the easing of inflationary pressure evident in the surveys and other private-sector data shows up in the official figures. But the September CPI report points to the Fed hiking by another 75bp not just in November, but potentially December and beyond too.
