The 10-year Treasury term premium, as estimated by ACM, rose to a more-than-decade high of ~0.9% last week amid renewed concerns about US fiscal policy. But while the premium remains far below the ~4% it topped in the early 1990s, for example, we doubt it will keep on surging.
