Drop-In: Global Economic Fracturing in 2023 – New Year, New Risks

2023 has begun with the Ukraine war still raging, tensions mounting over global trade practices, but also signs that China is dialling down its aggressive diplomatic posturing. By the end of this year, candidates will be dialling up the rhetoric as they position for next November’s US Presidential election.

These themes all run through our ongoing work on the fracturing of the global economy. In this special briefing, our senior economists guided clients through this year’s risks to highlight what they could mean for the economic outlook.
