Halifax House Prices (Sep.)

House price growth accelerated on the Halifax index. But this is at odds with the softer picture reported by the other main indices. Regardless, with real wages being eroded, house prices already so high and interest rates set to rise soon, we expect house price growth to remain sluggish over the rest of 2017.
