Halifax House Prices (Aug.)

The Halifax index recorded faster house price inflation in August, but that result is an outlier compared to the other main indices. And looking ahead, with interest rates normalising gradually and no sign of a pick-up in housing market activity, we think house price growth is set to cool further.
