BBA Mortgage Lending (Dec.13)

The BBA reported another rise in the number of mortgages approved in December, which are now up 42% on a year earlier. While there is no sign yet that this risks turning into a lending boom, it is not surprising that Mark Carney is rumoured to be considering recommending a cut to the Help to Buy scheme.
