EC growth forecasts still too optimistic

Regardless of the outcome of Spain’s latest general election on Sunday, we think its economy is set to slow. Meanwhile, Germany’s economy should have narrowly avoided a technical recession in Q3 (data on Thursday), but it is also losing momentum.
