Brazil Industrial Production (Aug.)

The 0.6% m/m fall in Brazilian industrial production in August wiped out July’s gains and the sector may have been a drag on the economy over Q3 as a whole. That said, the surprisingly strong surveys for other parts of the economy suggest that GDP growth held up relatively well last quarter.
