Housing market activity gradually marching upwards

With transactions rising further during the month, activity in the market does seem to be warming up. Coupled with record low interest rates and growing competition between banks, transactions should climb at a gradual pace over the remainder of 2016. But on the other hand, with house prices already high, we doubt the recent acceleration in house price inflation has much longer to run.
