Imports edged up in level terms, consistent with the ongoing recovery in domestic activity. Meanwhile, exports jumped thanks to stronger foreign demand and the ongoing boost from COVID-related shipments. While exports are likely to level off in the coming months, a further ramp up in stimulus should continue to support the recovery in imports.
