UK Economy Roundtable
One year on: Is the government boosting growth?
Tuesday 1st July 2025
Capital Economics, 100 Victoria St, London SW1E 5JL
9:00am | 12:30pm
What has the government done for the economy in its first year in office? And what will it do over the next four years? Ahead of Keir Starmer’s first anniversary as Prime Minister, our economists will explore these questions and others in a special in-person roundtable on Tuesday 1st July.
This is your chance to hear their latest thinking, ask questions, and exchange views with peers. In this hour-long informal discussion, the team will be addressing key issues including:
-
How has the government influenced the economy so far?
-
Will the government's policies be able to snap the UK out of its low-growth funk?
-
What would a Reform government mean for the economy and the financial markets?
