Boroughs with the highest prices continue to see the slowest price growth and the biggest falls in transactions. That said, with Outer London prices rapidly closing the gap with the centre, it shouldn’t be long before price growth there begins to slow as well. And in the medium term, the high level of house prices relative to incomes, combined with rising interest rates, will put further constraints on house price growth.
