Argentina: Macri’s economic team takes shape

The election of Mauricio Macri, the reformist candidate in Argentina’s presidential election, has transformed the country’s economic outlook. The result was largely anticipated – markets had jumped ahead of the vote and the reaction to the result itself was relatively muted. The key now will be whether Mr. Macri can meet (high) expectations once he takes office on 10th December. The early signs are encouraging.
