Is political uncertainty taking a toll on the Dutch economy?

The tightening of credit standards in the Netherlands suggests that political uncertainty may be having an impact on economic conditions. The chance of eurosceptics gaining power is limited and the Dutch economy is in a good position to cope with a short period of increased uncertainty. However, the same cannot be said of other euro-zone economies where the risks are much higher.
