The Asia Outlook – Will Outperformance Continue When the Pandemic Recedes?

At 0800 GMT on 11th March, we will be hosting a special webinar on the 2021 Asia Outlook. Chief Asia Economist Mark Williams will be joined by colleagues from across our Asia services to discuss how the region is likely to perform this year as the global economy moves towards recovery from the pandemic. During this session, our economists will address key regional economic issues including:
  • The implications of policy tightening in China
  • The Bank of Japan’s likely response to rising global yields
  • The risk to India from an impaired banking system
  • Whether the current boom for Asia’s tech exporters will last
  • How the rollout of vaccines is changing the economic outlook across the region.
Our economists will hold a 20-30 minute discussion before opening up for questions. Note: If you are unable to attend this event, registering will ensure you are sent a recording upon its conclusion.

Time: Thursday 11th March at 0800 GMT.
