Challenge
The client needed independent and reliable macroeconomic analysis and forecasting on Bulgaria's economy and the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector. This was needed to form part of a due diligence process to support investment decisions.
Solution

Based on thorough literature review, combined with analysis of historic trends and relationships with the macroeconomy, we determined the key drivers of the BPO sector in Bulgaria. We developed three scenarios for the economy and assessed the potential implications for the BPO sector under three different outcomes. In addition, we considered the outlook for two regional competitor countries to provide some context to the competitive environment for the sector.
