Are China’s smelters starting to struggle?

So far, there is only limited evidence that a lack of raw material is constraining output at Chinese smelters. But we think that will change in the months ahead. In our view, output is still most likely to be curbed at copper and nickel smelters, which is reflected in our more upbeat price forecasts for both metals.
