Mexico Bi-Weekly CPI (May)

The drop in Mexico’s headline inflation to 5.8% y/y in the first half of May was driven by a sharp fall in energy inflation. While we expect that this trend will continue in the coming months, there are signs that underlying price pressures are building, which may be a cause for concern at the central bank.
