Chile GDP & Current Account (Q2)

The pick-up in Chilean GDP growth in Q2 was mainly due to a rebound in mining production following a strike, and there are continued signs of weakness elsewhere in the economy. This adds to the case for a further easing of monetary policy. Meanwhile, the current account deficit remained broadly in check in Q2.
