France’s slow vaccine rollout won’t prevent recovery

France’s tight restrictions are set to be in place for at least another month or two, so GDP will not recover strongly during Q1. However, although the slow start to the vaccine rollout poses a downside risk for 2021, we think the pace will pick up enough to allow most measures to be lifted in Q2.
