Rally in bonds may continue to unwind

While the yields of most 10-year developed and emerging market government bonds have risen today, they are still substantially lower than prior to the coronavirus outbreak. Unless the fallout from the epidemic escalates significantly – which for the time being we are assuming it won’t – we think that the rebound in yields will generally continue.
