Consumer Prices (Mar.)

Despite a muted monthly rise in prices, inflation jumped to 2.2% in March due to base effects. It will surpass 3% in April for the same reason. While inflation should then ease, we expect it to remain above 2% for the rest of 2021, as the economy re-opens and more genuine price pressures build.
