Domestic travel fuelling recovery

The available data suggest that the recovery in consumption stalled at the start of the year and the slow rollout of vaccines could be an additional headwind. However, with the virus all but eliminated as the government has improved its contact-tracing systems, restrictions on activity have been eased further. This is now fueling a recovery in the hardest-hit sectors that should allow consumption to return to pre-virus levels in the second half of the year.
